The FROG Project: Teddy Burgh

Teddy Burgh studied music at Hampton University, Hampton, VA. Today, he continues to enjoy writing and performing. Burgh has shared the stage with a number of artists, including Ray Charles, Richie Cole, Yolanda Adams, and Joe Chambers. He currently performs with the Teddy Burgh Trio, Lee Venters and Vermillion Sands, and other groups in southeastern NC.

In addition to performing music, Burgh is also a professor and archaeologist. One of his areas of special interest is archaeomusicology, also known as music archaeology. His most recent work is the book, Listening to the Artifacts, with T&T Clark/Continuum Press.
